Bonnie Edelstein and Jeff Baltes
February 6, 2018: Death with Dignity National Center has published a feature article about the work of our organization, based on an interview with Bonnie Edelstein and Jeff Baltes (our Director and Deputy Director). The interview touches on their personal experiences, the environment for establishing medical aid in dying in New York, and the varied activities of Death with Dignity–Albany.

DwD National Center, which has headquarters in Oregon, actively campaigns to promote the Oregon model in other states. Their work centers on aiding state legislators and community leaders who are trying to enact Death with Dignity statutes. They have been active in all the states that have enacted the legislation and in many where it is now under consideration.
There is no formal relation between the National Center and our Albany group, but we share similar interests and goals.
